Anubis is rarely the figure of fear he's made out to be. In Egyptian mythology he is the guardian of thresholds, the guide who walks souls through the dark and weighs the heart against a single feather. The question was never how you died, but how you lived, and whether what you carried was true. A heart on one scale, a feather on the other.

The scarab
The winged scarab on the front is there for a reason: the ancient Egyptians placed scarabs over the heart of the dead. Here it sits on your chest, over your own heart.

The hieroglyphs
The symbols running down both sleeves are a real ancient text: the "offering formula", one of the most common in ancient Egypt and often addressed to Anubis. A prayer to Anubis starts on one sleeve, a prayer to Osiris on the other, and they meet in the middle of the hood.

The offering formula was written on tombs, coffins and stelae for thousands of years. I copied real signs, sign by sign, from verified sources instead of inventing or typing anything. I followed the original rules too: the animals face the beginning of the text, and small signs are stacked into neat square groups, like the scribes did. It's two-sided, like some real monuments.

The Anubis side says: "An offering which the king gives to Anubis, he who is in front of his divine booth, he who is on his mountain. That he may give an invocation offering of bread, beer, oxen, birds, alabaster, clothing, and every good and pure thing upon which a god lives."

The other sleeve says the same, but for Osiris.

Every garment is painted with bleach by hand; no two will bleach in exactly the same way. Small variations in tone and texture are part of the piece, and what makes each one unique.

The back also carries something extra: fine splatters and bubble textures. Your hoodie's splatter pattern will be unique to that piece alone.

Fit & sizing
Standard fit, unisex, available in S-2XL (message me to see availability for bigger sizes). Check the size chart if you're unsure about the size.

80% cotton / 20% polyester.

Care instructions
Machine washable. Air dry recommended - skip the dryer to keep the bleach work looking its best for longer.
