What’s Not Included (and Why)

Bleach & Peroxide (Not Included)

Due to shipping and safety regulations, bleach and hydrogen peroxide are not included in this kit. But don’t worry — you’ll receive clear, step-by-step instructions on exactly what product types and concentrations to look for at your local grocery store or pharmacy, so you’ll know you’re getting the right stuff and it will cost you less than $5.


You'll also notice there's no respirator in this kit — and that's intentional. Many of you already have one, and a proper respirator is expensive (€30-50+). I wanted to keep this kit affordable and focused on the tools you'll actually use for painting. If you don't have a respirator yet, grab one from your local hardware store. You should always be wearing a respirator mask with the proper filters when painting with bleach!

Does the kit include bleach or hydrogen peroxide?

No — bleach and hydrogen peroxide can’t be shipped safely, but the kit comes with clear instructions on which exact products to look for at your local grocery store or pharmacy. You’ll find it super easy to get the right ones!

What kind of shirt is included?

You’ll get a Gildan Softstyle (GIL65000) midweight unisex t-shirt — the exact same one I use in all my projects. It reacts beautifully with bleach, giving you crisp, vibrant designs without holes or weak fibers.

What are the “practice patches” for?

The practice patches are made from the same fabric as the t-shirt, so you can test your bleach dilution and brushwork before painting your actual design. It’s the best way to learn how your mix behaves and build confidence.
