This custom sweatshirt was created as a Christmas gift from a boyfriend to his Peruvian girlfriend—a thoughtful tribute to her heritage and roots. The design centers on the Lily of the Inca (Alstroemeria), Peru's national flower, known for its delicate beauty and symbolic meaning of devotion, friendship, and enduring bonds.
We chose to feature three blooms in full detail, each one painted with botanical precision to capture the delicate petal patterns and natural elegance of the flower. To give the piece a modern, artistic edge, we incorporated abstract bleach splashes around the blooms—creating a contrast between the controlled, detailed florals and the raw, spontaneous energy of the splatter work. The result is a design that honors tradition while feeling contemporary and wearable.
