This custom tee was made for a business owner who wanted more than just a branded shirt. A logo on a chest is a label. This was meant to be something you actually want to wear — so we built a world around it.
The customer knew he wanted a Japanese-style dragon, and that direction gave everything else its shape. The dragon takes over the entire front of the shirt — coiling from the lower hem, twisting through the body of the piece, its head rising to the center with claws extended and jaw open. The detailing follows traditional Japanese illustration: layered scales, sharp whiskers, that unmistakable sense of a creature that is both ancient and alive. But what makes this one different is the shoulder — the body of the dragon doesn't stay on the front. It climbs up and wraps around, bleeding past the seam like the garment itself can't contain it.
The logo sits in the upper left, exactly where it should — present, but not competing. The dragon commands the space; the brand simply signs it. Scattered bleach splashes punctuate the composition, adding raw energy and keeping the piece from feeling too polished or precious.
The result is a business shirt that doesn't look like one. Something a customer notices, asks about, and remembers — which, in the end, is exactly what a brand should do.
